crossman group – bristol

Any Weld were chosen to supply and install an 8 flight fire escape staircase for Crossman Group in Speedwell, Bristol.

This included structural columns, a steel sheet canopy, and mild steel and galvanized vertical bar style railings.
The site was home to the derelict Speedwell Swimming Baths built in 1937, and will now house 31 new apartments designed by Angus Meek Architects, including 4 affordable units.

The Speedwell Swimming Baths were closed in 2005 and have been abandoned since.

After signing a deal with Yarlington Housing Group, Crossman Group are able to provide much-needed social housing for the area.

Work progressed well on site and we’re happy to have been a part of this project.
